Teachers, staff, and students at McCarthy Elementary School dressed up as their favorite book characters and authors on Friday, March 6.
Several fourth grade teachers were characters from Laura Numeroff books. There was a mouse, a pig, and a moose spotted - to represent If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, If You Give a Pig a Pancake, and If you Give a Moose a Muffin.
Fifth grade teachers Debbie Chin & Lori Brockway dressed up like characters from the book Goldy Luck and the Three Pandas.

Teachers from grade 3 were dressed up as the seven dwarfs.
Snow White was no where to be found in the classrooms or the hallways, but the evil queen was spotted with her poison apple. McCarthy staffer Yuki Shikichi was in costume as the queen.
