State Police Kick Off 31st Annual Toys For Tots Campaign on U.S. Marines' 240th Birthday
Massachusetts State Police will hold a fill a cruiser event at the Framingham Toys R Us on Saturday, Dec. 5.

As the nation marks the 240th birthday of the United States Marine Corps, the Massachusetts State Police announced their support for the 31st year for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program to help local families in need.
Members of the Massachusetts State Police and United States Marine Corps Reserve urge the public to support Toys for Tots through donations of toys or money. The donations will assist charitable organizations that provide childrenβs gifts for Massachusetts families in need.
This year is the 68th anniversary of the Marine Corpsβ leadership of the Toys for Tots Program.

The Massachusetts State Police have partnered with the Marines on the program for the last 31 years.
βIt has been an honor for the Department of State Police to participate and partner with the United States Marine Corps for such an important endeavor,β said Colonel Richard D McKeon, in a press release.

Donors are asked to give new, unwrapped, non-violent toys, designed for either boys or girls, ages newborn to 14.
As in years past, toys can be dropped off at any State Police Barracks through Wednesday, Dec. 16th, include Massachusetts State Police headquarters in Framingham.
The Massachusetts State Police will also be holding their sixth annual βFill the Cruiserβ event, where troopers will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots at 10 Toys βRβ Us locations across the state, on Saturday, Dec. 5.
The Toys βRβ Us locations are Auburn, Dedham, Framingham, Kingston, Northborough, North Dartmouth, Peabody, Springfield, Swansea, and Woburn. More information will be forthcoming on those events in the next few days.
The State Police will be announcing the kickoff press conferences in the near future.
Anyone wishing to make a monetary donation can mail a check made out to Toys for Tots MA and mail it to MSP Toys for Tots Coordinator, 124 Acton Street Maynard MA 01754 or they may visit the programβs website at www.toysfortots.org.
