Summer Job: State's Looking for Lifeguards for Beaches and Pools
DCR operates many pools and beaches throughout the Commonwealth, and is looking to hire lifeguards.

The summer season is nipping at our heels, and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation is looking for certified lifeguards and head lifeguards to serve at the agency’s many pools and inland and ocean beaches across the Commonwealth.
DCR lifeguards, as the announcement says, are professional rescuers who are trained to both prevent injuries from occurring, and to respond in an emergency to help save a life. As part of a team, lifeguards must work together calmly and efficiently to manage crisis situations.
