Summer's Here; Gas Prices Are Up

AAA says gas prices are up 4 cents from last week and are a dime more than last month.

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up four cents from last week, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham, on Route 9.

AAA’s June 22 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.76 per gallon, up four cents from last week.

Prices locally are 10 cents higher than a month ago.

The current price is three cents less than the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.79.

A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 92 cents higher at $3.68.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 33 cents, from a low of $2.62 to a high of $2.95.
