SUV on Fire at Mass Pike Toll Booth

Framingham Fire department responded to a SUV on fire, just before the toll booth at Exit 13 in Framingham, said Framingham Fire Deputy Chief Stephen Stone.

There were four individuals in the SUV, when the driver noticed flames comes from the dashboard, said the deputy chief.

All four occupants of the SUV got out safely, and with no injuries.

Engine 5 put out the fire quickly, said Deputy Chief Stone, who said the occupants tried to put out the fire with snow before they arrived.

The SUV fire happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
