Framingham State University Police are investigating the hate crime

Framingham State University Police are investigating a report of a hate crime on its campus.
Police received a report from a male student that a swastika was scratched into his driver’s side door while parked in the Salem End Road parking lot on Thursday, April 2 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The Jewish holiday of Passover began at sundown on Friday, April 3.

The University had a camera at the parking lot, but it was either not working or removed due to ongoing construction.
Framingham State University is asking for the community’s help to identifying the person or persons involved with the hate crime.

Anyone who may have seen something is asked to call University Police at 508- 626-4911, it posted on its Facebook page Friday.
