TD Bank is hosting an event to help raise money for Framingham United Soccer Club Friday, Aug. 7.
TD Bank is inviting people to participate in a community coin counting event and fundraiser with its Penny Arcade.
TD will match up to $2,000 in coins counted at its Framingham branch at 1265 Worcester Road between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and donate it to the Framingham Club.

Framingham United Soccer Club is the largest youth sports program in the Town of Framingham, serving more than 1,200 children between the ages of 5 and 18.
Earlier this year, it was discovered that money was missing from the club’s accounts.

The former treasurer has been arrested and charged with embezzlement.
Parents and students are active in the community trying to raise funds to keep the club going.
