Motorists are being detoured from Union Avenue between Linden and Arch streets. No major injuries. The telephone pole was badly damaged, when the truck struck it.The area is not expected to re-open for 4-6 hours, due to repair work needed on the pole.Earlier this morning gas line work was taking place on Union Avenue. Due to the work, traffic was being detoured down Arch Street.Witnesses say the truck couldn't navigate the detour from Union to Arch and struck the telephone pole. Motorists are being detoured from Union Avenue between Linden and Arch streets. No major injuries.

The telephone pole was badly damaged, when the truck struck it.The area is not expected to re-open for 4-6 hours, due to repair work needed on the pole.
