Trans Activist, YouTube Star Chase Ross Visits OUT MetroWest

"Transgender and gender non-conforming young people need role models to help them imagine a positive future for themselves."

FRAMINGHAM, MA—When asked whom they would most like to hear from, the name Chase Ross topped the list for most OUT MetroWest program participants.

Managers of the program made it happen, and the trans activist, academic, and YouTube star joins this group to speak about trans identity..."and, let's be real, probably about his love of cats."

All LGBTQ and allied youth in grades 6 through 12 are welcome at this free event on Wednesday, March 14 at 6:30-8 p.m. at OUT Metrowest, 24 Vernon St., Framingham.

"Transgender and gender non-conforming young people need role models to help them imagine a positive future for themselves," OUT MetroWest Program Manager Kay Gordon told Patch. "They appreciate [Chase]'s authenticity, his sense of humor and his activism. Needless to say, there's a lot of excitement about his visit to Framingham. We expect a significant number of lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, and allied young people in addition to trans and gender non-conforming attendees."
