UPDATED: Armed Robbery at Express Travel

Framingham Police are looking for the man who robbed the Framingham convenience store on Friday night.

A young man pointed a revolver at a store clerk’s stomach and demanded money at the Express Travel convenience store on Concord Street Friday night, according to Framingham Police.

The suspect was wearing a black mask, a black jacket and black pants, and is believed to be Brazilian, as he spoke Portuguese, said Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin.

Framingham Police and Massachusetts State Police searched for the suspect, using the canine unit and helicopters, but did not find the suspect on Friday evening.

No one was injured during the robbery. The suspect is still at large. The amount of money stolen was not disclosed.

The armed robbery happened just after 6:30 p.m. at 133 Concord Street on Feb. 27.

Framingham Patch posted about the robbery on its Facebook page on Friday night, but didn’t have an update until today from Framingham Police.
