FRAMINGHAM, MA β It's a warm, cloudy Veterans Day in the region. COVID-19 restrictions have kept most communities from hosting in-person memorials and events in recognition of veterans, but residents kept the remembrances going online.
A popular Twitter account that memorializes people who died of coronavirus took the time to memorialize a World War II veteran from Framingham who died of the virus last spring. Edgar VanBuren, 104, died of complications of COVID-19 on May 18 at the Carlyle House in Framingham.
