A man allegedly causing a ruckus in a convenience store now faces a slew of charges, including assaulting a Framingham officer.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—A Framingham man is facing a handful of charges after police were called to a convenience store for a person causing a disturbance. Police had already been called to Amy's Convenience store on Water Street earlier in the day for a man who was yelling at people in the back of the room. When they returned and ultimately tried to arrest him, the man allegedly kicked, screamed and yelled threatening and disturbing words to police.
Sean N. Pelfrey, 39, Merchant Road, Framingham, was arrested on Feb. 21 at Amy's Convenience Store and charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest.
Not only had police been called twice to Amy's Convenience store, it is noted in the report that Pelfrey was allegedly at the Court House on Concord Street earlier in the day, "yelling at people."

When police arrived at Amy's Convenience Store, they immediately headed to the back of the room, where Pelfrey allegedly yelled loudly while leaning against the wall next to a crate. Officer Thomas Gardner asked him to leave and he refused, and said "whatever you gotta do, Gardner."
When Officer Gardner tried to pull Pelfrey's hands behind his back he tried to elbow him and began to kick backwards into his shin, continues the report. Once cuffed, Pelfrey allegedly twisted and kicked in the walk to the cruiser, resulting in a struggle that landed him and Gardner on the ground.

According to police, while trying to put him into the back of the cruiser, Pelfrey allegedly tried to kick both officers but hit the cruiser door, and during the ride to the station repeated statements such as, "you know I already got a trooper's family killed right?" and "what is the best part about being a faggot?"
Pelfrey used this derogatory term repeatedly while being transported, according to the report. At the station Pelfrey started spitting on the floor and was placed into a cell, where he jumped on the bench and pushed off of it, according to the report.
Pelfrey requested paper towels and water and declined medical attention.
