What's In The Future For Mary Dennison Park In Framingham?

All are welcome to join in a discussion of plans for upcoming improvements to the park.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—– Framingham Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs is holding a neighborhood meeting to discuss the future of Mary Dennison Park improvements.

All are welcome to join for an open discussion on the current conceptual design for a neighborhood park on May 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at Mary Dennison Park on Beaver Street. Children’s activities will be provided and snacks will be served.

Framingham officials have been working with Avery Dennison Corporation and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to determine appropriate cleanup and address environmental issues at the park, said the announcement.

The Framingham Health Department will attend to answer questions concerning the environmental work.

The May 12 meeting is an opportunity to review the most current conceptual park design, learn how the design affects the remediation of the park, and the timeline for the next phase of the project.
