What's Next For Framingham?
The elections are behind us. Framingham's looking forward, so what do you want to see accomplished?

FRAMINGHAM, MA—Election Day has come and gone. Now Framingham has the opportunity to move forward, taking on the intricate and challenging task of moving forward with a city government.
Framingham chose Yvonne Spicer for its first-ever mayor, with Yvonne Spicer taking 9,128 votes to challenger John Stefanini's 6,455. Most media reports credit Spicer with being the first female elected African-American mayor in Massachusetts.
With a background in education, Spicer struck a chord with hopes that she will address continuing concerns about the school system. During her campaign, she also committed to banning councilors from serving on other boards in an effort to spread the power around. Issues from Framingham voters range from whether or not Framingham should be a "sanctuary city" to those surrounding the balance of business and community and the economy.
