What's Open And Closed on Independence Day in Framingham?

Town of Framingham is observing Independence Day on July 3, but the community's three public beaches will be open all weekend.

Saturday is Independence Day, but the Town of Framingham will be observing the holiday on Friday, July 3.

The Town of Framingham will hold a concert on July 3 featuring the big band sounds of The Tom Nutile Band on the Framingham Centre Common from 6;30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Town will not host any events on July 4.

Natick has its annual parade on Saturday morning, July 4. Sudbury will also hold a parade on Saturday.

The Memorial Building, the town’s libraries and other Framingham municipal buildings will be closed on July 3, and obviously the weekend.

The Town’s trio of beaches will be open today, Independence Day and the weekend from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Bach tags are required for admittance, but they can be purchased at each beach.

The MetroWest YMCA is closed on Independence Day but their outdoor pool on Parker Road will be open.
