When is the First Day of School in Framingham?

August has started, and unlike when many of us went to school, most of the students in Framingham will return to the classroom before Labor Day.

Labor Day is Monday, Sept 7.

Freshman at Framingham High are the first to see summer end. They return to school on Tuesday, August 25.

Framingham Public School students in grades 1-12 start school on Wednesday, August 26.

Kindergarten students in the public school district begin classes on Thursday, August 27.

Preschoolers in the Framingham Public Schools begin their school year on Monday, August 31.

Students attending Saint Bridget School also have a staggered start date, but they don’t return to class until September.

Students in grades 4-8 start back to school on Tuesday, Sept 1. All students in grades 1-8 return to class on Wednesday, Sept 2. Preschool and kindergarten students start their school year on Tuesday, Sept 8.

Keefe Technical freshman return to class on August 27, but the rest of the students have another weekend, and go back to school on Monday, August 31.

Christa McAuliffe Charter School students return to class on Wednesday, August 26.

Marian High students return back to school in September.
