Kendrick is accused of stealing more than $5,000 in goods from Target in Framingham. On Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, around 3:15 p.m., officers were called to Target for a report of a woman who stole approximately $3,500 in items from the store on Nov. 29. Kendrick, as she was later identified, was inside of the store again and had a full cart of items. According to police, she tried to steal the cart of items again, but was stopped by the store's security as she exited.
Employees told police that she was a suspect in a prior shoplifting case, and that she was spotted on footage taking those items on Nov. 29. No one was working security at the time, making it easier for her to leave the store, said police. This second time, they were able to stop her with a cart of items totaling $2,075.01.

Kendrick spoke to officers in the loss prevention office, and said she was "extremely sorry for what she had done."
Kendrick allegedly stole $5,454.88 from Target, and said that all of the items stolen in November were sold and could not be returned.
She was arrested, and police asked her why she was stealing. She answered that she steals items and then sells them to friends at a lower price, and that she needed the money because her daughter's birthday was coming up.
Kendrick was served a no trespassing order and also charged with two counts of larceny over $250, according to Framingham police.
At her hearing in December, her lawyer argued for her release because she has a three-year old daughter at home, but the judge was unmoved, reports MetroWest Daily News. Judge David Cunis remarked at the hearing that Kendrick has a "21-page record filled with nothing but stealing" that has been going on for 25 years.
