You Are Special: Cindie Pagano

Cindie Pagano was one of 23 Framingham School employees honored at the 23rd Annual Salute to Framingham.

The annual Salute program recognizes Framingham teachers and staff who go the extra mile to make each day “special” in our public schools. These teachers and staff are given a “You Are Special” designation and are publicly recognized as part of the Salute to Framingham. They are nominated by administration/building principals.

Editor’s note: Framingham Patch is publishing all 23 honorees profiles between now and the end of the school year, so the community can recognize the employee. Below is the profile of Pagano, as it was read to the sold-out crowd of more than 500 people on Thursday, March 26.

Since 1998 Cindie Pagano has worked as an administrative assistant and office manager in the Framingham Public schools, splitting time between Walsh Middle School, Cameron Middle School, and Framingham High School.

In the two years since Cindie started at Framingham High School, she has seamlessly incorporated herself into the fabric of the school and has acted as an invaluable resource for administrators, staff members, parents, and students.

Cindie is a tireless worker who comes in early, stays late, and proactively seeks out and takes on tasks that need to be completed, even if they are not necessarily found in her job description. She has been a trusted confidant for several administrators, and her steady hand always keeps the day-to-day operations at FHS running smoothly.

She is the first smiling face to greet visitors to the school, and students often seek her out for help and advice. Beyond Cindie’s intelligence, efficiency, and good humor, she also brings an artistic touch to the main office. She creates her own artwork and has decorated the office with colorful pieces. Fittingly, Cindie herself brings a unique, creative flair and sense of whimsy that provides a calming influence for all that interact with her. We are lucky to have her!
