You Are Special: Nancy Piasecki
"She is the right-hand woman for the Superintendent and keeps the district organized and focused."

Nancy Piasecki was one of 23 Framingham School employees honored at the 23rd Annual Salute to Framingham.
The annual Salute program recognizes Framingham teachers and staff who go the extra mile to make each day “special” in our public schools. These teachers and staff are given a “You Are Special” designation and are publicly recognized as part of the Salute to Framingham. They are nominated by administration/building principals.

Dedicated, trustworthy, collaborative, caring, organized, and supportive ... these are just a few of the words that describe Nancy Piasecki, Executive Director for the Office of the Superintendent.
Nancy is the glue that keeps us all together and operating. She is the calming voice on the other end of the phone when a principal or director calls with a million questions, cries for help, or is looking for clarification on one of many topics. Nancy knows a lot about everything, and anyone who knows her well, knows that she would do anything, for any of us, at the school and district level.
She is the right-hand woman for the Superintendent and keeps the district organized and focused on the many balls that are constantly being juggled by all of the various stakeholders. She consistently follows through on requests made by building level leaders, answers some of the unanswered questions, and also can be there just to serve as a listening ear for so many of us if the need arises at any time.
As many know, Nancy had a terrible setback last year when a house fire completely destroyed her home, but you would never know it because she never once complained about it and she never lost a step at work. Her ability to keep her work life stable and consistently excellent despite this terrible loss was just amazing.
During her 12+ years of working in the School Department, Nancy has worked with 5 different superintendents, and has handled these many changes and adjustments with nothing but a professional and positive outlook. Her unwavering support of anyone who calls on her for advice is a notable and admirable quality. She consistently reminds all of us about how our decisions will impact our students and their education in the Framingham Public Schools.
For these, and many more exemplary reasons, Nancy Piasecki deserves the highest recognition and praise.
We, the central office and building administrators, would like to commend her for a job well done for all members of the Framingham Public Schools.
