Grafton has earned workers compensation and property casualty insurance credits totaling $27,126 through a incentive program offered by its provider, town officials said Thursday in a press release.
The town participated in free "educational and training courses" offered by that provider, the Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association, "as a membership benefit to help members reduce their risks and insurance premiums," town officials wrote.
"Committed to keeping the community safer and fiscally stronger, Grafton implemented loss control measures and administrative procedures that reduce the risk of accidents and property damage. In addition, employees participated in training programs that promote effective management and operations," the press release noted.
