Five Candidates Come Forward to Fill Vacant School Committee Seat
The search began months ago, but the deadline to apply had to be extended as no one initially stepped forward.

The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School Committee will at last have a new member.
Former member Roger Kubel resigned his seat on the committee in June, leaving a vacancy to be filled by a Wenham resident.
The initial call-out for applicants yielded no results, so the deadline to apply to fill the spot was extended to Sept. 23.
