Hamilton Fire Department: Open Burning Begins January, 15, 2022

The Hamilton Fire Department continues its online burning permits service for the 2022 season. This online application system (Click https://epay.cityhallsystems.com/link) allows residents to apply for their permit, pay for them and then register to burn daily. You can do this all online and can start filling out the permit  as early as January 1, 2022. However, the open burning season doesn’t  begin until January 15, 2022 and runs through May 1, 2022. As in  year’s past. Each day during the open burning season, permit holders will need to register online on the day they intend to burn. You can find directions on the town website by going to the Hamilton Fire Department page and/or at the bottom of this post.

For anyone without access to a computer, permits can be processed at the station on a limited basis only.
