Hamilton Police Remind Residents to Take Valuables Inside
A rash of recent car break-ins prompted the reminder.
Police are investigating a string of car break-ins that occurred Tuesday in the area of Chebacco Road in Hamilton.
Hamilton Police Sgt. Stephen Trepanier said in an announcement that five break-ins occurred Tuesday afternoon near the hiking trails and nature areas on Chebacco.
The sergeant also said that the break-ins were “similar” to some that occurred earlier this year. While the investigation is ongoing, police do have a person of interest.

Police are reminding residents to take their valuables into their residence instead of leaving them in their vehicles.
