Hamilton-Wenham Volleyball Stops Swampscott

The Hamilton-Wenham volleyball team shutout Swampscott Monday in a home match.

The Generals captured the three-set win, 25-16, 25-19 and 25-12.

Senior middle hitter and captain Kristina Renaud recorded a block and kill for the generals Monday while Cassidy Cring, Cecily Szady, Lauren Flynn, Litah Brown and Shauna Mancinelli recorded 100 percent serving nights.

Junior middle hitter Maia Sprouse added two blocks and two kills along with three aces. Meanwhile, Junior setter Tori Vivenzio snagged seven assists and four aces.

The Generals are next in action Thursday at home vs. Triton.
