MA Woman Dead In Crash At Four-Way Intersection In Maine

The woman, 32-year-old Casey Lubell of Ipswich, was in the backseat of a Subaru Impreza​ Saturday afternoon when the collision occurred.

IPSWICH, MA — A Massachusetts woman is dead following a crash involving three cars in Maine Saturday afternoon, according to Maine State Police.

The woman, 32-year-old Casey Lubell of Ipswich, was in the back seat of a Subaru Impreza at 12:12 p.m. when the collision occurred at a four-way intersection in Limington, Maine, police said.

The other two cars involved were a Lexus RX300 traveling in the opposite direction of the Subaru on Route 11 and a Jeep Cherokee traveling north on Route 117, according to police.

Police arrived on the scene to find two vehicles in the roadway and one that struck the front porch of a house at the intersection.

Three other people in the Suburu and the Lexus's driver were also injured, though their injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.

The road was shut down for approximately three hours and the circumstances which led to the crash are still under investigation, police said.
