Star Party Rescheduled Due to Cloudy Skies

The North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club is putting on the event at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library.

The guests of honor are unlikely to be able to make an appearance at Thursday’s Star Party at Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, so the event has been rescheduled.

The forecast is calling for cloudy skies, meaning stargazing won’t really be possible. The North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club, who is organizing the event, has rescheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 25 from 7:30-9 p.m.

On Tuesday, assuming the skies cooperate, the Astronomy Club will give a short astronomy presentation in the library’s large meeting room, followed by observation of the night sky through club telescopes on Fairhaven Field behind the library.
