Students in Regional Schools Among First to Head Back to School

Students in the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District return to school on Wednesday - among the first on the North Shore to get back into the classroom.

On the North Shore, Hamilton-Wenham Regional students will join students in Manchester-Essex and Swampscott. Statewide, students in Haverhill, Natick and Plymouth are some of the other places where school starts on Wednesday.

Many other North Shore students will have another week of summer vacation. Beverly, Danvers, Topsfield and Salem all head back on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

After two days in school, Hamilton-Wenham students have Friday off, as well as Labor Day on Monday, for a four day weekend before heading back on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
