Tax Program Volunteers Needed

Beverly Bootstraps is looking for volunteers to assist with our on-site tax program. Tax Preparers are needed to assist individuals and families with preparing their tax returns, claiming benefits for which they are eligible such as Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and being connected to financial education and asset-building opportunities. Intake Specialists will welcome clients and check to make sure they have the correct paperwork.

The Beverly Bootstraps tax program utilizes IRS-trained staff and volunteers to prepare tax returns for low-income families and individuals at no cost. In 2021, we were able to file 329 tax returns for our clients resulting in $662,504 returned to these clients.
