Unseasonably Cold Temperatures Moving in This Weekend

It’s going to get pretty cold this weekend.
The National Weather Service says it’s looking like a widespread hard freeze will occur across much of southern New England Sunday night into Monday morning with temperatures expected to be in the 20s across the interior and 30s along the immediate coast.

Here is the latest temperature forecast for Sunday night, which will be the peak of this cold snap. It will be unseasonably cold Saturday through Monday night.
- Friday: Some clouds in the morning and a chance of showers will give way to mainly sunny skies in the afternoon. Daytime high 62, nighttime low 43.
- Saturday: A chance of showers and then mostly sunny skies. Daytime high 55, nighttime low 32.
- Sunday: Sunny. Daytime high 46, nighttime low 29.
- Monday: Sunny. Daytime high 47, nighttime low 33.
