Wenham Eyes Traffic Signal Feasibility Study

The Wenham Board of Selectmen will consider supporting a feasibility study for a traffic signal on Main Street at a future meeting.

WENHAM, MA – Wenham's Board of Selectmen will consider sending a letter of support for a feasibility study on a potential traffic signal on Main Street.

According to Town Administrator Peter Lombardi's most recent report, the feasibility study for the traffic light qualifies for funding under a United Planning Work Program. The funding, if approved, would help pay for an operational and safety analysis of the area.

Lombardi said the next step would help determine whether a traffic light is needed, and if it is, where it should go. The study would also help determine design options.
