Wenham Looks To Fill 2 DPW Positions

WENHAM, MA – The Town of Wenham is looking for a facilities manager and a mechanic for the Department of Public Works. The application for the mechanic position is due by Friday, July 28, and the facilities manager application is due Aug. 7.

The facilities manager position is a permanent, full-time position under the supervision of the DPW director, according to the descriptions posted on the town website. The manager is responsible for the management of all town buildings, and qualifications include skills in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.

The mechanic position is also permanent and full time, and under the supervision of the DPW director. Responsibilities include performing maintenance and repair work on all town-owned trucks, hydraulic and motorized equipment and tools. The mechanic will also drive and operate a back hoe, front end loader, and other heavy motorized equipment as necessary.
