Woman Arrested After Elderly Woman Found Stabbed In Hamilton Home
A 46-year-old woman is under arrest while a 72-year-old woman recovers from being stabbed inside a Hamilton home over the weekend.

HAMILTON, MA — A 72-year-old woman is recovering after being stabbed inside a home in Hamilton over the weekend.
Hamilton police responded to a call from 117 Railroad Ave. just after 9:45 a.m. Saturday morning to find a woman who was suffering from stab wounds and was in need of medical attention.
EMTs and medical personnel were able to treat the woman at the scene and take her to a local hospital for further treatment. As of Monday, there has been no update on her condition.

While at the scene, officers were able to arrest a 46-year-old woman who was inside the home and took her into custody without incident.
Police say the two women knew each other, and there is no threat to the community.

No charges have been filed at this time, and police are working to investigate the incident.
