3. There is a tradition in Hopkinton to put on a post-prom party. The kids return from the prom, change into their shorts and t-shirts, and for the next six hours, enjoy a safe and fun environment with their friends. The party runs 11pm to 5am in the Athletic Center. Traditionally, sophomore parents help out at the party, and in turn, next year when your child is a junior, sophomore parents will chaperone him/her. Parents are needed to be posted at the doors, to ensure that all the party-goers stay safely inside the party. Bring a book, iPod, crossword puzzle, etc.! Parents are also needed to help in the kitchen serving food and to float around the room making sure that all is well. Please sign up, consider splitting a shift with your spouse or neighbor.
