3. Memorial Day weekend is often just remembered by many as an extra day off from school or work. In Hopkinton the Veteran’s Celebration Committee is working to change that. They have multiple ceremonies planned for the morning of May 28. Events will begin at the in Woodville at 9:45 a.m. At 10:30 several veteran memorial locations on Mayhew Street will each be honored. The parade to the Gazebo will start at 11:15 and end at noon with the traditional raising of the flag and the singing of the National Anthem.
4. This weekend the will be changing their servers to allow users easier access to the books available across the Minute Man system. and also be prepared to change your bookmark for the site on Tuesday when the new site launches.

5. On Monday we told you the weather was supposed to be nice for the holiday weekend; but as you know weather reports are rarely correct a week out. Temperatures are still expected to be warm but it’s looking like scattered thunderstorms may plague the area.
