Best-Selling Author Headed to Holliston

Best-selling author, Elin Hilderbrand, will be in Holliston today to give back to the town's schools.

Making good on her PTSA auction offer, Elin Hilderbrand, a New York Times best-selling author, will be in Holliston today to discuss her upcoming novel with a small group of local residents.

Today's meeting is one of two sit-downs the author will have in Holliston residents' homes, which raised a combined $3,400 in April's PTSA auction.

Pamela PinterParsons, a long-time PTSA member, won the bid on hosting Hilderbrand in her home. Local figures including Carolyn Dykema and PTSA President, Annalisa Michielli, will be present for the author's discussion.

"This is a great way to think outside the box and benefit the schools," PinterParsons said.

PinterParsons runs the recently-opened Music, Movement and More, a Holliston dance and yoga studio. She said that while winning the auction was expensive, her contribution was worth it.
