Girl Scouts of America took advantage of Holliston Patch this week to announce its leadership meeting in Boston this week with the support of two Holliston residents.
"It was such proud moment when all the female legislators came together in support of Girl Scouts to form Troop Beacon Hill. This unique statewide advocacy initiative, had a great turnout and was truly demonstrative of how Girl Scouts and leadership are synonymous. ... We were so proud of our great Girl Scouts who participated in the investiture in celebration at the Grand Staircase ceremony.
"Rep. Carolyn Dykema and Martha Waldron, Girl Scouts' CMO, both of Holliston, participated in this great event celebrating women in leadership and the kickoff of the Girl Scouts 100th anniversary."
