Man Who Drove Onto Hopkinton Golf Course Turns Himself In: Reports

The golf course was damaged and several golfers were nearly struck, Boston.com reported.

HOPKINTON, MA — A 27-year-old Princeton man who drove onto the green at a local golf course earlier this month has turned himself in to face charges, police told multiple outlets Monday.

The man, Ian Mahoney, had been at large following the May 3 incident, during which the Hopkinton Country Club's golf course was damaged and several golfers were nearly struck, Boston.com reported.

Mahoney was caught after authorities identified the suspect's vehicle, according to Boston25.
