HBA Prepares for Spring Stroll
Businesses in downtown Holliston expect a flurry of business on April 27.

For the second year in a row Holliston businesses will be welcoming the warm weather with their Spring Stroll.
The event, sponsored by the Holliston Business Association and organized by John Paltrineri of Fiske's and Margit Price of Bird in Hand, will feature more than 40 businesses from Holliston and the surrounding towns.
After last year's Innaugural Spring Stroll featured 18 businesses, this years increase includes mre family-friendly activites as well.

"We really wanted this to be something the whole family could come to enjoy and spend with their neighbors," Price said.
For the kids there will be pony rides and a race car outside the Mark Ahronian will be doing a plant-a-seed program in the library and the Holliston Police and Fire Departments will be showing off their vehicles and the new Police K9 unit.

The day will begin with a dedication of Blair Square, followed by a flea market at the square organized by Bobby Blair to raise funds for the Holliston in Bloom decorations in the summer.
For those hoping to find a little more action, Jesse Green will be carving a sculpture in front of the First Congregation Church that will go on display outside Fiske's when it is finished. Pejamajo will also be having live music played throughout the day with performances by Dave Cournoyer, Ruthann Baler, Erica Leigh, Barbara Kessler, Kamryn Person and Katie Frassinelli.
As an event organizer and a business owner, Paltrineri is hoping all of the participating businesses will have a draw to get people through to door during the stroll. For specifics on any raffles or entertainment each business will be having contact the business owner.
