Holliston Man Charged With Third OUI, Car Break-Ins Reported

Wednesday, March 27

8:19 a.m.: A caller from Spring Street reported a loose dog; at the same time a caller on Frankland Street reported a loose dog. The Animal Control Officer checked both locations but was unable to locate any loose dogs. Both dogs had been secured by their owners.

8:38 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Grove Street and spoke to the driver who was in possession a German license.

11:37 a.m.: A vehicle crashed in to a mail truck on Wood Street.

2:06 p.m.: Two people were hospitalized after a four-car crash on Hayden Rowe Street.

2:44 p.m.: A caller from Whirty Circle reported a suspicious person walking up and down driveways but not knocking on doors. An officer spoke with the man who was an unregistered solicitor. The officer gave the man a citation.

Friday, March 29

3:50 a.m.: A caller from Smith Road reported she was woken up by her car alarm. When she looked outside she saw two people running across her lawn. Officers responded and checked the vehicle as well as the surrounding streets.

4:18 a.m.: A caller from Wood Street reported that when she went to her truck to go to work she scared off a person who was in her driveway. Officers checked the area.

10:49 a.m.: A caller reported a logging truck that had hit a fire hydrant on Wood Street. Officers located the vehicle half an hour later and obtained information from the driver.

4:51 p.m.: A truck on Wood Street hit a biker. The biker was taken to the hospital.

8:52 p.m.: Officers responded to a rollover on Pond Street. One person was taken to the hospital and the vehicle was towed.

10:46 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Clinton Street and arrested William O’Conner, 60, of 15 Kathryn Ln., Holliston. O’Conner was charged with failure to keep right on a hill, failure to wear a seatbelt and third offense drunken-driving.

Saturday, March 30

10:47 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Greenwood Road with occupants that were smoking something. Officers spoke with the three people in the vehicle and destroyed a small amount of marijuana.

Monday, April 1

9:01 a.m.: A caller from Main Street reported a muskrat stuck in the area between the Hopkinton Police Department and the bank. Officers were able to free the animal.

5:02 p.m.: A caller reported that he was involved in a hit and run on Hayden Rowe Street. The caller followed the vehicle until they got onto Route 495. A short time later the caller went in to the station to file a report.

7:47 p.m.: A caller from Huckleberry Road reported that several screens were slit on his house recently but no entry was gained to the house. An officer responded and viewed the screens.
