Holliston Native Recognized for Service by Trustees of Reservations

The Trustees of Reservations, the nation’s oldest and one of Massachusetts’ largest statewide land conservation organization, recently recognized Trevor Battle, a Holliston native, for 15 years of service with the organization. Battle received his award at the organization’s annual meeting held at one of its signature properties, Naumkeag, a National Historic Landmark located in Stockbridge.

“Trevor is widely known by visitors to Rocky Woods in Medfield and Noanet Woodlands in Dover for his outgoing, friendly personality,” says Mike Francis, Trustees Charles River Valley Superintendent.  

“He makes everyone feel welcome to the reservation and can recommend trails or outings to suit everyone’s needs, as a result of his many years of experience.  Trevor is also known for his precise knowledge of weather phenomenon and the latest forecast, something pretty handy when planning a trip in the outdoors," he said.
