Holliston To Reopen Beaches To Residents Only

Stoddard Park and Pleasure Point beaches will reopen to residents only on June 5.

HOLLISTON, MA — As the state loosens its grip on coronavirus restrictions and summer rolls in, Holliston announced it will reopen two beaches to residents only. Stoddard Park and Pleasure Point beaches will reopen on Friday.

All beach visitors will need a season pass sticker, which costs $45, or a day pass which is $15. The town stressed that no passes will be sold on site.

The beaches will still have some COVID-19 restrictions in place to limit the potential spread of the virus. Groups larger than 10 are not allowed to gather and a minimum of 12 feet must be kept between groups/blanketed areas. Physical distancing of 6 feet applies and face coverings should be worn when this is not possible.

While beaches are reopening, summer caps may have to wait longer. Summer programming is on hold pending more guidance from the state and local authorities. If residents are interested in any programs, they can place their name on the waitlist during the registration process and the town will keep you informed of any cancellations or openings.
