Hopkinton Man Arrested After Domestic Assault, Large Brush Fire

Thursday, April 25

11:33 a.m.: A caller from Yale Road reported domestic violence. Jonathan M. Garrison, 24, of 4 Yale Rd., was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

5:19 p.m.: A caller from Pendulum Pass reported a dirt bike rider making a lot of noise. An officer spoke with the person on the dirt bike.

Friday, April 26

5:56 a.m.: A caller reported that he hit a dog while driving down Hayden Rowe Street and the dog ran off.

8:45 a.m.: An officer assisted with bus evacuation drills at the Center School.

3:52 p.m.: One vehicle was towed after a crash on East Main Street.

4:41 p.m.: A caller from Winter Street reported that his credit cards had been used after his wallet was stolen from his car.

11:32 p.m.: A caller from West Main Street reported a noisy bonfire / gathering in the area. An officer responded and told them to quiet down. There was a valid cooking fire permit from the Hopkinton Fire Department

Saturday, April 27

10:00 a.m.: An officer collected 61-pounds of drugs during the drug take-back event.

12:13 p.m.: An officer assisted with rescuing people from a broken elevator at St. John’s.

5:30 p.m.: An officer checked a broken window on Jackson Street. The window appeared to have been hit with a BB.

9:03 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a vehicle off the road on Proctor Street.

Sunday, April 28

1:41 a.m.: One person was taken into protective custody from Hayden Rowe Street.

9:23 a.m.: A caller from Proctor Street reported that a vehicle had driven through their yard and caused damage overnight.

11:37 a.m.: A horse rider reported that she found a man laying on his side on the horse trail by Frankland and Cross Streets.

12:37 p.m.: Officers assisted the Hopkinton Fire Department with a large fire near Alprilla Farm Road.

5:06 p.m.: An officer checked the quarry on Lumber Street after a caller reported a group of youths shooting rifles in the area. An officer responded, logged the people in the area and took a report of vandalism.

6:05 p.m.: A caller from Emerson Way reported two horses on his property.
