Hopkinton Water Main Break Will Shut Off Water For Several Hours
Eric Carty, the town's water and sewer department manager, announced the water main break on Claflin Avenue, off of Main Street at 5 p.m.

HOPKINTON, MA - Hopkinton's water and sewer department manager announced shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday that crews are repairing a water main break on Claflin Avenue.
Eric Carty said in a statement that water will be off for several hours while the repairs are being made.
After the water is turned back on there may be some air and discoloration, and you may need to run your cold water line to help clear the lines.

This comes on the same day at the start of the re-pavement of Main Street, which is part of the town's ongoing Main Street Corridor project. Claflin Street runs off of Main Street in the vicinity of Carrigan Park.
