To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter in support of Jon Graziano for School Committee. My name is Mary Blair and I am the Director of Coaching and Player Development for Hopkinton Youth Soccer. I have known Jon for two years. Jon has been the Age Group Coordinator for HYS girls U-6 and U-7 programs. Jon also volunteers to assistant coach a team as well.

Jon and I have coached together this year. I have found Jon to be organized and responsible. He is caring and supportive coach to the first graders in our charge. I can count on Jon to make sure everyone has had equal time playing as I can be caught up in the competition and the flow of play. He is there reminding me that we sub on the clock at this level not on the flow of play.
Jon and I often find ourselves out on the coldest, wettest fields at the crack of dawn on Saturday mornings. He is always there knowing who needs to go where. We all count on Jon to have the combination at the ready, should the gate be locked. This may seem silly, but it is his attention to detail that keeps things moving forward.

Jon takes time to think about how teams should be formed, and sincerely has the best interest of the children at heart. Although our team continues to one of the weaker teams he felt it would be good for the girls to have the same coaches this season as last which helped them bond to each other and to the sport. It is this type of thinking that makes me believe Jon will be thoughtful in his post on the school committee.
Jon is a dedicated father and husband. He is very supportive of his daughter. He does an excellent job motivating and nurturing her on the field. Although, he does draw the line at fixing her hair before games.
Jon’s position as Vice President, Business Productivity and Innovation at New York Life Retirement Plan Services shows that Jon understands what a great education can do for you. He places great value on creativity as well as understands how important mathematical education is to our children.
I am thankful that Jon wants to serve our community in a larger capacity. Without any reservation, I support the candidacy of Jon Graziano for School Committee.
Sincerely,
Mary Blair
