Local Businessman Honored by National Trade Association

The Environmental Industry Associations (EIA) recognized Benjamin James Harvey at their National Convention in Las Vegas by awarding him The Distinguished Service Award. Several years ago, Benjamin accepted leadership of The Future Industry Leaders Alliance which provides young industry leaders opportunities to improve their management skills, identify business opportunities and network. He helped draft by-laws, set specific goals, formulate a mentoring program, and develop educational webinars for members. Bruce Parker, President and CEO of the Environmental Industry Associations stated, “We are honored to recognize B. J. for his service to the industry. He has played an instrumental role in The Future Industry Leaders Alliance (FILA), mentoring the next generation of industry leaders.”

As Vice President at E. L. Harvey & Sons, Inc.;  B. J. Harvey’s responsibilities include identifying, assessing and recommending acquisitions, developing sales plans, route optimization, formulating business growth strategies, developing and implementing budgets and optimizing existing business through strategic projects.

B. J. Harvey is a graduate of Westborough High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Fairfield University in Business Management. He lives in Westborough.
