Man Arrested After Car Trouble at Nick's

Monday, March 25
10:00 a.m.: A caller from Nick’s Central Garage reported a problem with a person picking up their vehicle. Officers responded and arrested Faghyner Dasilva, 32, of 1104 Washington St., Norwood on warrant charges.
7:42 p.m.: Two callers reported a dark sedan crossing the centerlines on Washington Street downtown. An officer responded and located the vehicle in the registered owners driveway. The owner was spoken to.

10:19 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle at Holliston High School and gave the driver a verbal warning for texting while driving.

9:41 a.m.: A caller reported a disabled trash truck leaking hydraulic fluid on High Street. The Highway Department was called to handle the spill.
10:11 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Church Street after the operator failed to stop at a crosswalk. Police are seeking a summons to charge the man with failure to stop at a crosswalk and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
11:58 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Hollis Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge the driver with operating with a suspended license.
