Newcomers Donate 64 Easter Baskets to Food Pantry

Members of the Holliston Newcomers Cub worked to ensure all children can enjoy the Easter holiday.

From the Holliston Newcomers Club:

The Holliston Newcomers Club recently organized an Easter Basket Project to benefit the children of the Food Pantry. Sixty-four brightly decorated Easter Baskets were filled with many items sure to make the children receiving them smile with delight! Betsy Maxwell coordinated the project on behalf of the Holliston Newcomers Club and opened up her home as members dropped off many creative baskets throughout this past weekend. Soon Betsy’s living room was filled with the blooming colors of spring. All of the baskets were successfully delivered to the Food Pantry in time to celebrate Easter Sunday. A big thank you to John at Fiske’s who offered a special discount to members of Holliston Newcomers as they stopped by the store to select fun items and fill their baskets.
