Northstar Recovery Center Partners With Tufts Health Plan

The center, located in Southborough, will serve clients who are seeking treatment from substance abuse disorder.

SOUTHBOROUGH, MA - Northstar Recovery Center in neighboring Southborough is excited to announce they are expanding access to treatment to those struggling with substance use disorder by partnering with Tufts Health Plan.

A nonprofit organization founded in 1979, Tufts Health Plan is nationally recognized for its commitment to providing innovative, high-quality healthcare coverage. The plan offers members and employers an array of health management programs, which support evidence-based approaches to health and wellness.

Northstar provides patients with evidence-based treatment programs for addiction to opioids, heroin, benzodiazepines, alcohol, stimulants, and a broad range of other substances. The facility delivers a full continuum of aftercare including partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive
outpatient program (IOP), behavioral health services, ongoing support, and family services set in a bright, professional facility.

“We are very happy to be able to serve the 1.1 million+ Tufts members by joining their network of 110 hospitals and over 51,000 providers," said said Sam Lockard, the co-founder of Northstar Recovery Center. "Offering our services to a wider demographic of the population has been our goal from the start.”
