Obituaries: Beulah A. Chevarie

Beulah A. Chevarie, 96, of Holliston, passed away Wednesday, May 9. Born in Dedham, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Greenleaf) and Harrison Thorpe. She was the wife of the late Eugene Chevarie who passed in 1987 and Frederick Joyce who passed in 1965. 

She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne E. Moore and her husband Arthur “Jim” Moore of Holliston; two sons, Fred Joyce of Holliston and William Joyce and his wife Thuy of Mendon; three step-children, Judy Wiles and her husband Charles of NH, Lucille McGarry of Sheffield, MA., and James Chevarie of Newbury, MA. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. 

Visitation took place on Monday, May 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington st. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Holliston.
