Obituaries: Norman B. Morrison
Morrison was a World War II vet, serving in North Africa, and a Holliston resident for 35 years.

Norman B. Morrison Jr., 92, of Englewood, FL and formerly Holliston, passed away after a short illness on Monday, May 28.
Born in Boston, Norman graduated from Brookline High School in Massachusetts in 1937 and from Norwich University in Northfield, Vt., in 1941. A World War II veteran of the United States Army, he served in North Africa.
A resident of Holliston, Mass., for 35 years, he was elected to the Holliston School Committee for several terms, also serving as chairman. He was a member of the Holliston Historical Society and was appointed to various town committees.
Norman was always active in church affairs. He was a founding member, senior warden and vestryman of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, and, after moving to Englewood, he was a member, senior warden and vestryman of St. David’s Episcopal Church.
He is pre-deceased by a brother, Ronald L., and a sister, Peggy McGowan.
He leaves his loving wife of 65 years, Marjorie (Sheehan); his three sons, Bruce J. (Sandra) of Burlington, Iowa, Brian J of Huntington, Mass. and Brett J. of Holliston, Mass.; a brother, Alan F (Joy) of Needham; a sister-in-law, Alice; two granddaughters, Heather Donovan and Jennifer West; two great grandchildren, Ava and Conall Donovan; special friends Cathleen H. Morrison, Dr. Kenneth and Sandra Janes, Richard and Linda Wood, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced in the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. Inurnment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Mass., at a later date.
